We get asked about Carers in Cancer and who we are

We are a small self-help and support group who provide information, telephone support and other services just for carers.

Our aim is very simple: we want to help carers to help themselves by supporting each other, not telling anyone how to care, but to listen to each other, respecting views, understanding anger and frustration that comes with caring for someone with cancer.

It's one of the hardest jobs in the world. We know! We've have been there. We cannot explain the journey in one sentence, some of us have laughed or cried or just feel so frustrated. If you have never been a carer it's hard to understand how we feel! of course our friend or family member who has cancer is going through a range of emotions themselves, and supporting someone we love during this time puts pressures on us that cannot be measured.

WHO ARE CARERS? CANCER DOES NOT SELECT US, IT COULD BE YOU!
